In late May the town buzzes with the excitement of the Hay Festival, which attracts authors, artists and visitors from across the world. There are themed pop up nights in The Gallery, DJ’s at The Globe or you can catch the latest film releases at the luxurious Richard Booth’s Bookshop cinema. There are food festivals, vintage events and of course fantastic local country shows. There is something for everyone to have a #greatstayinhay

Black Lion Jazz

Special guest musicians Saxophonist and composter Glen Manby an amazing and relaxed performer. Glen will be joined by well-known jazz pianist Jim Barber who likes modern hard-edged jazz and has regularly performed with Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts. Ollie Blanchflower will be on bass and John Gibbon on Percussion. No entry charge, but tables can only be reserved if dining.
