Old stone house right on the banks of the River Wye. Two double rooms and a twin bedroom comfortably sleep five people. We also have a wooden hut in the garden with a double bed and wood burner. Space for a foldup bed or two as well in house and hut. Lovely garden, beautiful views over the Wye. Canoes by the river. Ideal for an artist/writer retreat but also for a family wanting some fun as well as peace and quiet. Our house is a family house, not super smart. It's rustic and quite quirky . We have a bath but no shower. There is however a washing machine and a dishwasher! We have a lovely big conservatory, a largish kitchen and two sitting rooms, and weather permitting, a table outside with an awning from where you can watch the river go by and probably see kingfishers, swans, duck, geese, maybe an egret and if you are lucky you might see otters! We also have a cat called Gnasher, who is undemanding. Someone could come into do it but it would be great if you could! We also have a young man who might come round once or twice to keep the garden tidy. Minimum 7 night stay from August 10th to August 25th. If you would like to stay longer than 7 nights we offer a reduction on the rate, please call Sarah at Visithay for rates 07375 396748.
