The Old Bake House

The Old Bake House

Distance from Hay: 8.5 miles

Self Catering
Max Guests: 2
Number of Bedrooms: 1

A characterful one double bedroomed Cottage all one one level with feature sitting and sun rooms. Formed in 2008 by the renovation of a former Bake House and Hayloft into a detached Cottage of generous proportions. The front door opens out to an entrance hall with an area to one side for coats and boots. The entrance hall also provides access to the Sitting Room and bedroom. The dual aspect double bedroom overlooks the garden on both sides and has a walk-in wardrobe. The large sitting room/ dining room, of much charm, features a vaulted ceiling, a stone fireplace with wood burning stove, flag stone floors, large rugs and exposed beams. Off the Sitting room is a South facing sun room looking out on an extremely attractive garden that borders the river Monnow. In addition, there is a well equipped, cosy kitchen with an adjacent utility room. 2018 marks the first time that the Old Bake House has been offered as Holiday Let. It sleeps 2 with the possibility of adding a Travel Cot and high chair when required to provide additional accommodation for an enfant.
