Hinton Barns is a beautifully converted 18th Century Barn situated in Peterchurch, in the heart of the Golden Valley.
The barn has three double bedrooms:
The largest bedroom has a double bed and single futon to accommodate an additional adult or child.
The ground floor bedroom with ensuite shower opens directly onto a decked area looking out over the garden.
On warm days it can be a perfect breakfast spot.
There are two bathrooms on the first floor, one with bath and one with shower.
A large kitchen with Aga is fully equipped. An open plan dining/living room with double aspect has Smart TV and a double sofa bed.
There is plenty of outside space to enjoy from a lawned area with badminton nets, paved courtyard to watch the sunset with evening drinks and rear garden overlooking the hills to the east. From Hinton Barns you can access some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country. Hay-on-Wye is 9 miles away and the festival can be easily accessed either through the festival carpark, or park in the town and take a short walk.
The City of Hereford is 12 miles distant with Cathedral, Mappa Mundi, Cider Museum, shops and restaurants. Peterchurch itself is a peaceful place to stay with local pub The Nags Head offering good home cooked fare. St Peter's church is home to the Hub Cafe open tuesday to friday for delicious lunches and cakes. The Barns have ample off street parking.
