Penybont Barn is an old converted farm building full of character, with exposed beams and nooks and crannies and is upside-down, with the lounge and living areas all upstairs enjoying views of the garden and towards Llangorse lake.
It comfortably accommodates up to 4 people, has all mod cons and a private garden that backs on to a charming stream. It has private parking and is in walking distance for local pubs, and short drives to Brecon, Hay on Wye, Crickhowell and Builth Wells. It is the perfect location to enjoy life at your own pace.
As you enter the property what grabs you is the quirkiness of the barn, the exposed beams, thick walls and charming features. The living quarters are upstairs including a cosy lounge with leather furniture, an electric fire and TV/DVD/streaming options. The fully fitted kitchen has an induction hob, double oven, fridge, freezer, dish washer and washing machine for all your needs.
The downstairs bedrooms are quiet and cool, a perfect temperature for a good nights sleep. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the second bedroom has two single beds that can combine into a comfortable double bed. Both have a wardrobe and a chest of drawers and windows that open out on to the brook alongside. The bathroom has a bath and shower which includes a rain option.
The private garden has a covered patio area as well as a lawn with chairs and table and parasol, a perfect location on the riverside to sit with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down. Access to the river is possible but at guests own risk.
There is private parking for one car on the driveway in front of the property and for two cars inside the private courtyard.
Bicycles can be stored securely at the back of the property.
Smoking is not allowed inside the property nor in the garden.
Well behaved small pets are allowed, but there is an extra £30 fee for cleaning.
The barn is completely available to guests, i.e. no sharing with anybody else.
