The Court is set within a 1000 acre estate and is surrounded by gardens, grassland and natural woodland. For those feeling energetic, explore the local area with an early morning run along leafy country lanes with fantastic views, or take a more leisurely stroll along the 11 miles of footpaths and bridleways which cross through and around the estate. Guests are also most welcome to use our private fishing beats along our 2.5 mile stretch of the River Wye. Play croquet on the terraces as the sun goes down, or maybe a cheeky cocktail or two or just chill out in the total peace of the house and gardens. The ground floor rooms range from an oak panelled Great Hall, Smoking Room/Sitting Room with comfi sofas and an open fire, an Adam-style Dining Room, a TV Room with smart tv, dvd player, board games and jigsaw puzzles. There is a well equipped domestic kitchen complete with four oven AGA and range cooker, has tall fridges, tall freezer, wine fridge and dishwasher. There is a laundry room with two washers and two dryers. As well as a catering kitchen. There are 12 Bedrooms, and guests have called our beds the most comfortable they have ever slept in! There are 1 x single, 2 x twin, 2 x double, 1 x kingsize, 1 x quadruple (4 singles) and 5 x superking rooms (four of which can be made up as twins on request). There are six bathrooms, two of which are ensuite, as this is a period Edwardian house it will require some of our guests to have to share bathrooms. Stays are offered on a self-catered basis however we can recommend caterers who would be willing to cater for all or part of your stay.
