The Swan at Hay

The Swan at Hay, situated in the heart of Hay-on-Wye, is a glorious Georgian building that has been completely refurbished. Guests and visitors can dine in three spaces - The Garden Room Restaurant, 1812 Bar and The Market Bar. The 30 cover Garden Room restaurant is open daily. The Garden Room dinner menu is available Tuesday - Saturday and the aim is to offer as many seasonal Welsh dishes as possible using local produce. A bar menu is served in either the 1812 Bar (named after the date the hotel was built) with 25 covers or The Market Bar. The Market Bar overlooks the functioning market and dogs are welcome in this bar.

The Kilpeck Inn


Located in the historic village of Kilpeck in the heart of the beautiful south Herefordshire countryside, the Inn offers the best local and seasonal food, real ales and fine wines in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Kilpeck is famous for its beautiful Romanesque church which is just a few minutes’ walk from the inn. The Inn itself has held a central role in village life for over 250 years and after an extensive refurbishment project re-opened in 2010 as a perfect example of a contemporary country inn. Come and sit by the fireside and enjoy a pint of local ale, have a light lunch in the bar or enjoy a delicious meal in the dining room.
