The Table art gallery is situated in the very heart of Hay. Showing contemporary art from artists both local and those further afield, the owner, Val Harris, curates only work that she would be 'happy to hang at home'. Large figurative oils nestle next to mixed media glazed pieces alongside sensitive drawings. Workshops take place at the impressive table from which the gallery draws its name. There is something for everybody, even a seat alongside the welcoming wood burning stove.
