This recently completed and beautifully presented log cabin 3 miles from Hay on Wye is one of two in the small tranquil hamlet of Cwmgwannon.
It has everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing retreat high in the hills above Clyro village.
It offers the perfect escape for those looking for an "away from it all" break but still within close proximity to civilisation.
The Lodge comfortably sleeps 5 guests in 3 bedrooms and has an ensuite with shower to the master, as well as a family bathroom. It is set in a picturesque and tranquil location with views of the surrounding rolling hills and farmland. Perfectly placed for walks from the door onto the Begwyns Hills, especially for those guests with a dog, the Lodge is also only a 5 minute walk down the hillside to the village of Clyro where a pub, garage and shop can be found (a longer walk home up hill!) Hay on Wye, famous for its annual literary festival and second hand book shops, is only a short distance away and boasts a variety of boutique style shops, family butchers, green grocer, delicatessen, cafes, pubs, restaurants and a thriving weekly market.
Due to being situated close to a local livery yard, the Lodge is ideally placed for those guests wishing to bring their horse on holiday (by private arrangement with the livery owner). National Trust land and the Begwyns Hills offer the perfect terrain for great riding.
Please note, for those guests looking for 2 properties within close proximity to each other so that 2 families can holiday together but in separate accommodation, Bryn Lodge is situated close to Luxury Cabin 1 (a 1 minute walk away along a grassy track). Whilst conveniently located near to each other, both cabins retain complete privacy.
