16th century grade II listed farmhouse with fantastic views, a small lake & pasture in the Golden Valley surrounded by hills overlooking Wye valley and Radnor Hills beyond, under 10 mins drive from Hay. An historic tump just over lake from the house, was a Norman castle. Price includes Full English breakfast from the Aga in the oak panelled kitchen. Bedroom with twin beds, cotton sheets & feather pillows with south facing garden view & onto hills beyond, separate bathroom, comfortable & quiet. Flat screen TV, Sky freeview, tea & coffee making facilities. Single room with Indian four poster bed, flat screen TV, coffee & tea making facilities, separate power shower room. Also extra for overflow, my absent daughters lovely south facing twin bedroom, full of her things but still large room so space ! LATE AVAILABILITY AS CANCELLATION ! this Bank holiday weekend Friday - Monday - taking bookings for all three nights only NB Steep & narrow curved oak staircases not good for anyone with mobility problems.
